Minnesotans, aren't we oddly proud of the crazy weather we endure!

The Governor closed schools last Friday with the predictions of today's temps to be well below zero- not including wind chill. (-40 to -70 below with wind chills).

For the fun of it -- because what else is there to do when it's this cold -- let's interview each Body-type and what they think of the cold . . .

Edna - Well, it's uh great day tuh be at hoome, make sum coookies (say it like a Minnesotan, not The Cookie Monster) end uh snuggle wit duh grandkids- ya know. Day closed down duh schoools tuhday. It's much too colt fur duh kids, ya know!

Franz - Wat whetter? Wats duh big deal? Ef-ver-y-butty is a hootin' and a hollering' 'bout it. Sooo what!?

Abe - Well, ya know de've been talking' 'bout dis global warmin' idea but it doesn't make sense dat's getting' colder. And did yu efver notice dat when da sun shines bright in day winter, ur happy tuh see da sun, but dat means it's join' tug be extra cold? And den der's sun-dogs; what a phenomenon! (Yes, phenomenon sounds more or less the same in a strong MN accent). When yuh see duh sun dogs yuh know it's gonna' be reeeaaal coldt! And den duh windt . . .
