Adendum to "lesson in a lesson"

I was going over my luscious collection of quotes this evening in preparation for a talk- and I stumbled appropriately upon this one-

“People are disturbed not by things, but by the view they take of them.”

Epictetus- Was a Greek philosopher who was born into slavery in 55 AD, later was freed and founded a philosophy school.

This I think this correlates in an intriguing way to my "Lesson in a Lesson" post.
